Subject [users@httpd] Caching
Date Fri, 10 Jan 2003 21:09:51 GMT
Howdy,

I've installed Apache 2.0.43 as a proxy/caching server.

I have the cache enabled and from the ubrowser perspective it seems to be
working. However in the /usr/local/apache/cache folder I have no files
written there. I am thinking I should see files there. Is this correct? Is
there a way to see if my server is caching as it should?

Thanks!
-Rob

My version has these modules compiled statically into it:
 mod_cache.c
 mod_disk_cache.c

My httpd.conf file directives:

# Cacheing
<IfModule mod_disk_cache.c>
   CacheRoot "/usr/local/apache/cache"
   CacheSize 500000
   CacheEnable disk /
   CacheIgnoreCacheControl Off
   CacheDirLevels 5
   CacheDirLength 3
   CacheDefaultExpire 3600
   CacheMaxExpire 10800
</IfModule>
