Subject [users@httpd] REDIRECT ends in Bus Error(10)
Date Fri, 31 Jan 2003 12:58:43 GMT
Hello out there,

i have just compiled httpd 2.0.44 on our new sun fire 280r (Solaris 9 latest
patch cluster) and get one strange error. first i compiled the server with
these setting :

CC=gcc -m64
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache

No errors are occuring during compilation. After starting up the server
everything seems to be okay, but this little html code :

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL="any kind of redirection"">
<b><font size="+4">hold on ...</font></b>

produce :

[Fri Jan 31 13:41:59 2003] [notice] child pid 18921 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)
[Fri Jan 31 13:41:59 2003] [notice] child pid 18922 exit signal Bus error
<and many many more !>

in the server error log file ! Not in the virtualserver log file.
After recompiling with these settings :

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache

everything went normal ! but i prefer to use the 64bit compiler of gcc.
dos anyone have any expierence with this settings ?
