Subject RE: [users@httpd] 2.0.43 Problem
Date Thu, 09 Jan 2003 05:28:20 GMT
A bucket is used as a place to "throw data" together in a C programme. So it looks like the
ap_content_length_filter (which is made up of two componenets apr_filter_t and apr_bucket_brigade.
So the apr_bucket_read function trys to read the ap_content_length_filter, and is failing.
On the face of it, it looks like a bug.

It would be interesting to see the page your are loading, and see if someone else can try
to run it on the same server. I am running all 1.3x stuff here. I am sure someone in here
will be glad to help. Try logging in debug mode. Another thing you can do is an strace on
the process to a file, and try to load the page, wait for the timeout and cancel strace.
It might be a bit large but most of what will be needed would be in there.

Be interesting to see what happens.

Sorry I am not more help

Cian

Subject: [users@httpd] 2.0.43 Problem

Hi,

I am running Apache 2.0.43 on GNU/Linux. There is a webpage on the
server which takes forever time to load. The following error is seen in
the logs

"(70007) Timeout specified has expired. ap_content_length_filter.
apr_bucket_read() failed"

Any idea of what's happenning????

Cheers!!!
Somu
