Subject [users@httpd] mod_auth_ldap & crypted password
Date Tue, 21 Jan 2003 11:59:34 GMT
Hi everybody,

I'm using mod_auth_ldap on my server for
authentication. I've no problem with basic
configuration, but I don't want that the server send
the user's password uncrypted.
It seems that it's not possible to send it in MD5 or
crypted whith UNIX crypt.
It's rather strange, since the LDAP has been build to
support the UNIX crypt authentication.

Does anybody have a solution or do I have to modify
the module ?

Thanks for help.

Benjamin.
