Subject [users@httpd] Compiling OpenSSL without patented features
Date Wed, 08 Jan 2003 11:29:25 GMT
Does anyone know how to compile OpenSSL 0.9.7 for Win32 without
patent-protected features (as described at
http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/platform/win_compiling.html)?

The documented flags (no-asm no-mdc2 no-rc5 no-idea) make make choke on
n_pkey.c as follows:

O_KRB5 -D_WINDLL -DOPENSSL_BUILD_SHLIBCRYPTO -c .\crypto\asn1\n_pkey.c

NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'cl' : return code '0x2'
Stop.

Any help would be appreciated.
