Subject RE: [users@httpd] Apache2.0.43 w/ ldap on Solaris
Date Mon, 25 Nov 2002 16:04:45 GMT

(I've done this today with mod_ldap and mod_ssl)

setenv LDFLAGS "-L/<Path to SSL>/lib -L/<Path to LDAP>/lib -L/usr/local/lib"
setenv LDFLAGS "$LDFLAGS -R/<Path to SSL>/lib:/<Path to
LDAP>/lib:/usr/local/lib"
setenv CPPFLAGS "-I/<Path to SSL>/include -I/<Path to LDAP>/include
-I/usr/local/include"

make distclean
./configure --prefix=/<Where ever you want to put it> --with-ssl=/<Path to
SSL> --enable-so --enable-ssl --enable-auth-ldap --with-ldap --enable-ldap
--enable-proxy --with-ldap-include=/<Path to LDAP>/include
--with-ldap-lib=/<Path to LDAP>/lib
make depend
make
make install

Create a .htaccess file

AuthType Basic
AuthName "Apache 2  Test"
AuthLDAPURL ldap://ldap.foo.org:389/o=foo.org?uid?sub?(objectClass=*)
AuthLDAPRemoteUserIsDN on
<Limit GET POST>
require group cn=staff,ou=Groups,o=foo.org
</Limit>

Works fine, Solaris 2.8, open ldap 2.1.8 built with as

setenv LDFLAGS "-L/<Path to SSL>/lib -L/usr/local/lib"
setenv CPPFLAGS "-I/<Path to SSL>/include -I/usr/local/include"
setenv LDFLAGS "$LDFLAGS -R/<Path to SSL>/lib:/usr/local/lib"

./configure --prefix=/<where ever>/openldap2.1.8 --disable-slapd
--disable-slurpd --with-tls
make depend
make
make install
