Subject RE: [users@httpd] Apache 2.0.43 Solaris 8 BIG Trouble.
Date Mon, 11 Nov 2002 17:26:53 GMT
Hi,

I am having similar problems on Solaris 8. There is some kind of issue that
causes apache to stop responding. Strange thing is my install will run for
a long time with no problems. Then suddenly stop responding even though it
is still running. I did a truss on it and it just shows apache waiting
indefinably. The only thing I can do to fix it is a kill -9 and restart.
Strangest thing is it occurs like clockwork at the same time of day.

It happens with both prefork and worker mpms. I also have a very minimal
set of modules loaded. I am also running a java application under resin.
If you find anything please let me know! I also have had it happen on
solaris 7. See my email about 2 weeks ago in the archives for this list for
more info.
