Subject [users@httpd] Listen 2 port and name-based virtual host
Date Thu, 28 Nov 2002 08:48:15 GMT
Hi,

I want run www.abc.com only on the port 8000 and www.xyz.com only on
port 9000 on the same server. Now my problem, both of the domain can
browse port 8000 and 9000
eg:  - www.abc.com:8000 and  www.abc.com:9000
      - www.xyz.com:8000  and www.xyz.com:9000

Could someone point me in the right direction to find out how this is
done?  This below my configuration:

DNS  - www.abc.com IN A 192.168.1.4
          - www.xyz.com  IN A 192.168.1.4

APACHE CONFIG file

Server version: Apache/1.3.11 (Unix)
Server built:   Aug 30 2002 16:09:48
Server's Module Magic Number: 19990320:6
Server compiled with....

Listen www.abc.com:8000
Listen www.xyz.com:9000

NameVirtualHost www.abc.com:8000
NameVirtualHost www.xyz.com:9000

UseCanonicalName Off

BindAddress *

<VirtualHost www.xyz.com:9000>
        ServerAdmin nmg@xyz.my
        DocumentRoot /data/xyz
        ServerName www.xyz.com
        CustomLog logs/xyz-access_log combined
        ErrorLog logs/xyz-error_log
</VirtualHost>

<VirtualHost www.abc.com:8000>
        ServerAdmin nmg@abc.com
        DocumentRoot /data/abc
        ServerName www.abc.com
        #CustomLog logs/abc-access_log combined
        #ErrorLog logs/abc-error_log

</VirtualHost>

Thanks for any input you can provide!
