Subject [users@httpd] desy access if browser machine doesn't tell his hostname
Date Fri, 25 Oct 2002 23:22:27 GMT
Hi,

in httpd.conf we configured
	HostnameLookups on
In the past we noticed attacks from host, that do not have an IP-address
resulotion to a valid hostname.

Question: is ther a way to desy access for certain areas when the hostname
is not available?

Any hints are welcome

regards
	Harald
