Subject [users@httpd] can this be done: 2 apache, 1 system, both on 80
Date Tue, 22 Oct 2002 02:31:37 GMT

apache 1.3.26 on linux rh 7.3

greetings,

to accomplish the Subject line ....

This is what I've set up so far but I have not done
any real testing yet so I wanted to check first:

I am using IP aliasing and I have created two different
IP# associated with the NIC of this system set up
and network-wise they work fine......

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:0

And I plan to put this in one httpd.conf

Listen <IP of eth0>:80

and put this in another httpd.conf

Listen <IP of eth0:0>:80

Is that how it's done?

If not would any one point me to right
direction if this can be done at all?

Thanks,
Farid
