Subject [users@httpd] rewriting post parameters
Date Sat, 05 Oct 2002 15:20:45 GMT
Hi there

I've a proxy-rev apache 1.3
i'm using mod_rewrite to add remote_user in url parameters
this is the line in httpd.conf
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ $1&remote_user=%{REMOTE_USER}

this way, backend application can read user by get
but what if backend application expect it in post parameters?

it would be nice to have a module able to parse and execute:

PostRewriteRule ^(.*)$ $1&remote_user=%{REMOTE_USER}
or something analogous

This can be achived by some existent module or it's necessary a new one?
10x in advance
