Subject [users@httpd] Problem compiling 1.3.27 on HPUX 11.0
Date Thu, 10 Oct 2002 14:24:51 GMT
Hi List,

I'm trying to compile the HTTP server on HPUX11.0 and am running into a bit
of difficulty.
I'm wondering if anyone has seen the following error and would know how to
get around it....

`./apaci` \
      -o httpd buildmark.o modules.o modules/standard/libstandard.a
main/libmain.a ./os/unix/libos.a ap/libap.a regex/libregex.a
lib/expat-lite/libexpat.a -lm -lpthread -lm
/usr/ccs/bin/ld: lib/expat-lite/libexpat.a: Not a valid library (invalid
magic number). Possibly a 64-bit PA archive library (Mismatched ABI).
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [target_static] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/appscout/apache_1.3.27/src'
make[1]: *** [build-std] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/appscout/apache_1.3.27'
make: *** [build] Error 2

All help would be most welcome....
