Sorry everybody don't mean to seem impatient, but are my posts getting
through to the group ?
This is my original query:

I get the following error message when trying to start apache 2 on a Solaris
Box running Solaris 2.8, has anyone seen this before.
Please mail me at

express-ldap# apachectl start /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd: fatal: open failed:
No such file or directory
apachectl start: httpd could not be started
