Look at the error message, and make sure the directory it is trying to serve
is what you mean for it to serve.

you should see a line like in error_log:
[Wed Oct 23 17:31:01 2002] [error] [client 255.255.255.255] client denied by
server configuration: /usr/local/apache/htdocs

Are you meaning to serve up /usr/local/apache/htdocs?

Are there any sort of configuration settings for allow/denying access?
Anything in a .htaccess?
