I guess I'm a little fired up on the disparity of config/control, studying
for Solaris Sysadmin (for 2.9) tests while using 2.7 machines at work (and
FreeBSD at home) is enough to drive a webmonkey/sysadmin nuts.  The original
post came from my wondering what flavor of *nix the poster was using, and if
my response were going to totally throw him off.
