Subject [users@httpd] Compiling mod_auth_ldap in Apache 2.0.42
Date Thu, 26 Sep 2002 21:33:58 GMT
I can compile Apache 2.0.42 fine on Solaris, but when I try to enable
mod_ldap and mod_auth_ldap, I get the following errors...

Making install in experimental
/bin/bash /scratch/s1/ams/installs/httpd-2.0.42/srclib/apr/libtool
--silent --m
ode=compile gcc  -g -O2 -pthreads    -DSOLARIS2=7
il/include -I/usr/local/include -I.
unix -I/scratch/s1/ams/installs/httpd-2.0.42/server/mpm/prefork
odules/filters -I/scratch/s1/ams/installs/httpd-2.0.42/modules/proxy
les/dav/main -prefer-pic -c mod_auth_ldap.c && touch mod_auth_ldap.slo
mod_auth_ldap.c:82:2: #error mod_auth_ldap requires APR-util to have LDAP
rt built in
mod_auth_ldap.c:104: parse error before "deref_options"
mod_auth_ldap.c:104: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or union
mod_auth_ldap.c:120: parse error before '}' token
mod_auth_ldap.c:120: warning: data definition has no type or storage class

there are lots more, but I am leaving them out...

I am using --with-ldap and --enable-so --enable_mods_shared="auth
auth_ldap ldap" .. and more

How does it know where my netscape ldap libs are and what is APR-util and
do I need to install it somewhere or something.

Thanks in advance!
