Subject [users@httpd] Apache proxy dropping keepalivetimeout value
Date Mon, 30 Sep 2002 12:47:15 GMT

Hi All,

My client is specifying a keepalivetimeout in it's requests to my Apache 1.3.26 web server.
The problem is that apache is dropping the keepalivetimeout

Eg. Without apache proxy :

[HTTP/1.0 tunnelled, KeepAlive] ....

with proxy :

[HTTP/1.0 tunnelled] ....

Does anyone know why Apache would be dropping this header? I have a sneaky suspision that
it could be related to http 1.0's support for httpkeepalive timeout [didn't really come into
force until http 1.1], but I would appreciate some feedback on this. Has anyone else experienced
this? Thanx!
