Subject [users@httpd] apache access log question
Date Fri, 06 Sep 2002 06:58:48 GMT
dear all,

we've a professor's course page running on our apache 1.3.26 server (Netware
5.1sp5). i
checked the access log and found lots of entries like the following :

66.250.52.xxx - - [29/Aug/2002:13:48:12 +0800] "GET http://www.ebay.com/
HTTP/1.1" 200 24
202.120.120.xxx - - [29/Aug/2002:14:28:12 +0800] "GET http://www.ebay.com/
HTTP/1.1" 200 24

look like our apache being exploited. don't know what hackers are doing and
how to configure httpd.conf to block them?

thanks in advance

john
