Subject RE: OpenSSL upgrade
Date Mon, 12 Aug 2002 14:36:33 GMT
Adam:

I have upgraded OpenSSL without touching Apache. It never occurred to me to
recompile Apache <sheepish grin>. I never ran into trouble, so I'm guessing
you won't either.

Someone else may have more than anecdotal evidence.

Subject: OpenSSL upgrade

Is it necessary to recompile Apache when a new version of OpenSSL comes out?
In other words, is SSL built statically into Apache?
