Yes, here's what I used to compile apache_perl:

[scorreia@stevie apache_1.3.14_perl]$ CC=3Dgcc ./configure =
--bindir=3D/usr/local/bin/ --sb
indir=3D/usr/local/apache-perl/bin/ --prefix=3D/usr/local/apache-perl/ =
--mandir=3D/usr
/local/man/ --localstatedir=3D/var/run/httpd/ =
--runtimedir=3D/var/run/httpd/ --logfi
ledir=3D/var/log/apache-perl --enable-module=3Dunique_id =
--enable-module=3Drewrite --e
nable-module=3Dusertrack --activate-module=3Dsrc/modules/perl/libperl.a

I got it working though, what I had to do was edit the config.layout =
with the paths and it worked. I didn't think I had to do that, but you =
live & learn.
