Subject HTTP/1.1 persistent connections appear not to be working over SSL
Date Sun, 28 Jul 2002 14:06:53 GMT
hi all,

I am doing some performance tests on a HP-UX machine with Apache 1.3.26
and I notice that I am unable to get persistent connections to work while
working with an SSL enabled server (mod_ssl).
Over clear HTTP everything works fine with persistent connections, but the
minute I turn on SSL, my clients start setting up a separate TCP connection
per web-object.

I am using HP-UX 11.0 and Apache 1.3.26,
from httpd.conf :
KeepAlive On
MaxKeepAliveRequests 100
KeepAliveTimeout 15

Any ideas would be appreciated,
