Sorry, forgot to mention - i do have "NameVirtualHost" in
config file. I have over 1000 virtualhosts that do work. And I have a few
reasons not to put IP into NameVirtualHost and <VirtualHost> - the file is
dynamically generated, the same file should work on more machines etc.

This it the only thing that does not work. I understand it as in some cases
the parameter of <VirtualHost> does mean more than only defining address
that virtualhost will be working, but also does that affect ServerName. I
consider that as a bug - am I right?

The main reason why I want to do this, is that I want to have virtualhost
"" that will catch all hosts that are not defined in
<VirtualHost> section - every undefined Host: should go to default. But the
hostname is and that one should have its own virtualhost.
