Hello,

we are using Suse Linux 7.3 and Apache 2.0.39 with mod_ssl, mod_proxy and
mod_rewrite.
Apache works fine without using rotatelogs. If we use rotatelogs Apache
always starts a lot of httpd processes and hangs up. In server status I see
a lot of connections reading requests. In the error.log I get the following
message:
[warning] .... child process did not exit sending a sigterm

What is the problem with rotatelogs and Apache 2.0.39 ??

Apache 1.3 and rotatelogs worked fine.

With kind regards
Thomas Stech
