What kind out VB-script is this? Can you run it from the command line, and
if so, what does it output?
I'm asuming that "...get vbs files to run" you to execute them as CGI, and
to be legal CGI-programs they need to at least output the Content-type
header + two new lines: "Content-type: text/html\n\n"
You'll probably need to set .vbs to be handled as CGI with a line like this:

AddHandler cgi-script .cgi .pl .vbs

I'm not clear about what you're up to, or what the problem is. So, check the
error log to see if you can get some more info (i think it should write what
data it found "premature"), and explain better what you want.

PS. What you mean by getting .js files working? These should be files
including JavaScript "included" into HTML-documents, and not executed on the
server.
