Subject HP-UX 64 bit apache
Date Fri, 14 Jun 2002 18:50:42 GMT
Hello all.
Has anyone compiled 64 bit apache on HP-UX 11.0 with softbench c compiler?

I have the following environment:
HP-UX 11.0
HP Softbench C compiler
Oracle 9.2.0 client
perl 5.6.1 64 bit
DBI 1.23 64 bit
DBD-Oracle 1.12 64 bit

All the scripts using Oraperl work from command line (can connect to oracle
database and return results).
They do not work from apache cgi.

additional info:
file /usr/local/perl/bin/perl
/usr/local/perl/bin/perl:	ELF-64 executable object file - PA-RISC 2.0
(LP64)

file
/usr/local/perl/lib/site_perl/5.6.1/PA-RISC2.0/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.sl
/usr/local/perl/lib/site_perl/5.6.1/PA-RISC2.0/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.sl:
ELF-64 executable object file - PA-RISC 2.0 (LP64)

ldd /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Bad magic number for shared library: /usr/lib/pa20_64/lib.c
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Exec format error

I think that apache is not compiling 64 bit, correct?

I tried the DBI forum, however, the problem manifests itself in apache.
any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom.
