Subject Aliasing network shares on NT
Date Fri, 07 Jun 2002 06:32:43 GMT
Good day to all.

I would like to know whether it is possible to create an alias which =
points to a shared directory on some other comp in the intranet.
Suppose we have "comp1" which shares the "share" directory.

Alias /share1/ "\\comp1\share\"

<Directory "\\comp1\share\">
 Options +Indexes +Includes +FollowSymLinks
 Order Deny,Allow
 Deny from 192.168.80.112
 Allow from 192.168.80.
</Directory>

This would not work, why I wonder.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance.
                            Dmitry.
