If you still care, I did the following and it works:

Redirect /ftp.linux.store "ftp://login:pass@x.x.x.x" without help of mod_rewrite.

  I think mod_rewrite will do that for you. Not sure how to write the code but just be sure
to include the name & password in the URL like ftp://login:password@ftp.domain.tld .

    I wonder whether it is possible to perform redirection to a certain ftp site with predefined
user name and password, so that visitors does not need to enter login info.
