I'm not sure, never ever got such an error, still: whether the "include
virtual" works I wonder...
I would also check many things including permissions...

i have an index.shtml file with the line:
<!--#exec cgi="/cgi-bin/news.pl" -->
It works with Apache 1.3 but not with Apache 2
the site is down(for 2 days already) because of that
please somebody help me how to solve that error:

"/cgi-bin/news.pl" iin /usr/local/somewhere/site/index.shtml, referer:
http://www.site.org/index.shtml
