First, check your error log. If something went wrong and it wasn't able
to start, that could show you where the problem is.

If you're not sure its running, try looking for a 'httpd.pid' in your
log directory (or /var/run/httpd/, if that's where the pid file is being
written to - common in prebuit distributions). You can also try a
'netstat -an' and see if anything's listening on port 80.

(Assuming Unix) - When you restarted Apache, did you do it as root?
Trying to restart Apache as a non-privelged user can cause your server
not to restart.

If you're still having trouble, you may want to mention which version
of Apache you are running, and what operating system you're running it
on.

Hi there to whom this may concern:

I stopped the apachectl daemon and then restarted it now I cannot see
any of the websites on my Server.

And if I have a look at all the processes running I cannot see it in
there either, even though I start the httpd from the command line and
it
says that it is started it is clearly NOT!

If anyone can help me as I need this ASAP

Regards
