Subject DAV complaince test failed on Apache 2.0.35
Date Fri, 03 May 2002 17:33:53 GMT
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone compiled dav with Apache 2.0.35. I have testing
DAV support in Apache 2.0 since the beta period. Recently I compiled 2.0.35
with DAV and ran a litmus (DAV complaince check
http://www.webdav.org/neon/litmus/) on the server. The test failed. The
following are the test results:

-> running `basic':
 0. init.................. pass
 1. begin................. pass
 2. options............... pass
 3. put_get............... pass
 4. mkcol_over_plain...... pass
 5. delete................ pass
 6. delete_null........... pass
 7. mkcol................. pass
 8. mkcol_again........... pass
 9. delete_coll........... pass
10. mkcol_no_parent....... WARNING: MKCOL with missing intermediate gave
403, should be 409
    ...................... pass (with 1 warning)
11. mkcol_with_body....... pass
12. finish................ pass
<- summary for `basic': of 13 tests run: 13 passed, 0 failed. 100.0%
-> 1 warning was issued.
-> running `copymove':
 0. init.................. pass
 1. begin................. pass
 2. copy_init............. pass
 3. copy_simple........... pass
 4. copy_overwrite........ FAIL (COPY overwrites collection: 301 Moved
Permanently)
 5. copy_cleanup.......... pass
 6. copy_coll............. pass
 7. move.................. FAIL (MOVE overwrites collection
`/6sigmatech/litmus/movedest' to `/6sigmatech/litmus/movecoll': 301 Moved
Permanently)
 8. move_coll............. pass
 9. move_cleanup.......... pass
10. finish................ pass
<- summary for `copymove': of 11 tests run: 9 passed, 2 failed. 81.8%

And I had the same results in the beta period as well. So I am wondering if
this is a configuration issue, or the DAV module has not been implemented
properly.

I am using mod_dav on Apache 1.3.x, and it passes the litmus check with
flying colors.

Any ideas?

Saqib Ali
