What do you mean by "can't see" - do you get a timeout, "server not
accepting connections", forbidden or what?

What does  it say in the ssl_engine logs and the error_log?

Have you defined a separate VH for the SSL service or just added the
"Listen" directive? What SSL* directives have you defined?
