Subject CGI scripts can't find libraries
Date Wed, 08 May 2002 23:43:11 GMT
I'm running Apache/1.3 on Solaris 2.5

I don't have root access, so everything is installed
under my home directory.

I'm trying to access a MySQL database using Perl
and/or Python. The problem occurs when I try to 'use'
or 'import' (respectively) the MySQL modules needed by
Perl/Python. The error_log shows that ld.so can't find
the *.so files.

Is there any way that I can configure Apache to tell
it to look in certain directories for libraries when
running a CGI (like LD_LIBRARY_PATH)?

Thanks,
--Mike
