Subject Where to put <directory>
Date Sat, 18 May 2002 03:19:05 GMT
Hi all,

Should I put the <directory> ... </directory> statement between
<virtualhost> ... and </virtualhost> ?

I ask that because the web server admin put it outside and I can't use
.htaccess files.

The settings are:

<VirtualHost 194.102.241.1>
ServerAdmin teddy@fcc.ro
DocumentRoot /var/www/teddy/html
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "/var/www/teddy/cgi-bin/"
ServerName teddy.fcc.ro
ErrorLog logs/teddy.error_log
CustomLog logs/teddy.access_log common
</VirtualHost>

<Directory /var/www/teddy/>
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride All
</Directory>

Thank you!

Teddy,
orasnita@home.ro
