Actually, QuickTime is not embedded into the page, so it appears to be that authorization is successfully passed to it without requerying the user. Do you know, then, of any way to use Basic Authorization to "secure" (not that it's very secure) .mp3 content without the user's having to reenter his password, given that one has no control over which .mp3 player the client is using?
