Thanks Joshua, with the double # it works as it used to do.
I guess I will need to upgrade since I have to keep the shebang lines
correct for my UNIX ISP copy of the files, and I don't want to maintain two
different versions.

Any idea why with printenv.pl I have to make the URL .../printenv.pl/ to get
it to execute rather than try and download the file. Permissions are the
same as for my scripts as far as I can tell.

There is a problem with the ScriptInterpreterSource directive in 2.0.35.
You'll need to either correct the shebang line, remove it (or just add an
extra "#" in front of it), upgrade to the CVS version, or wait for the
next release.
