Subject Q: how many entries for allow in access.conf
Date Tue, 16 Apr 2002 10:27:38 GMT
Hi *.*,

I use access.conf to protect a DIR as follows. I enable access by USER/PASS
or direct by a specified IP.

My Quest(ion ;-)): How many of such IP entries could be listed here, before
the server rejects the config-file?

<Directory "/usr/local/apache/htdocs/extranet/htdocs/">
AuthType Basic
AuthName "Mitgliederservice"
AuthUserFile /usr/local/apache/conf/pw_extranet
require valid-user
Satisfy any
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from 192.168.0.10 192.168.0.20 192.168.0.30 192.168.0.40
</Directory>

TIA Thomas Albl
