I would do it just in case...

I have Norton Sysytemworks 2001 and i keep it updated...
when it came to me...norton caught it...and asked me if I wanted to 
quarantine the virus...which I did.  But when i tried to submit the
virus to SARC
for investigation...it wouldn't....
It then brought up the quarantine section and i was able to delete the
infected file
from within the email   but leave just the header.. info.  Thats how I
found out the 
persons it had come from.
