This message is being sent to the Apache users list, Feel free to forward..

Three pieces of Big News here:

1. Date change! Due to feedback and other factors, we have
decided to move the conference date from the proposed August
2002 one to 18-21 November 2002. Those are now the firm and
official dates. The conference will be held in Las Vegas,
Nevada, USA. COMDEX will be in Las Vegas at the same time,
so companies may be able to save on expenses.

2. We're introducing tutorials! For the first time, ApacheCon
will start with a day devoted to multi-hour intensive and
focussed training sessions (half- or full-day). Tutorials
will be held on Monday 18 November 2002 and won't be
included in the general conference fee; you will need to
register for them separately. The normal conference sessions
will be the usual three days long, beginning on Tuesday.

3. Public discussion list now available! In order to provide a
forum in which delegates and speakers -- actual or potential --
can share information, network with each other, and publicly
comment/suggest about the ApacheCon conferences, we have created
an open discussion mailing list. For more details, see

Thanks for your support!
