First off what operating system are you using?
if windows 2000

first you have to add the dir you wish to use as a virtual dir to the server
so the server will recognize it.

Second, you have to specify the permissions so that it has cgi script
execution and is allowed to be accessed by internet users. and it must be
shared.

If it's another operating system, I'm not sure.
