Subject SV: Apache behind firewall redux

Experienced the same problem but solved it the dirty way - modified all
the clients' "hosts" file :-)

Having placed my apache server behind an IPTABLES based firewall, all is

well, except for one thing: I am not able to get to my web server from
the 
LAN using www.domain.com, I need to use www.machine.domain.com. From
outside 
the LAN, people are able to use www.domain.com to access the site. 

Is there a way that I can set up the system so that I am able use the 
www.domain.com from within the LAN?
