One big drawback to mod_speling is that it doesn't look for Aliases,
only files on the filesystem. For example, if phpBB isn't an actual
directory under your DocumentRoot, but Aliased instead, it's not going
to work.

Is that what's happening in your case? Is phpBB aliased to somewhere
outside of DocumentRoot?

Pete

Can you help me a little bit more? I uncomment in httpd.conf all the
lines
with mod_spelling and add a line with "CheckSpelling on" .
I stop the daemon and restart it, but without success.
The server start and I tried to access http://mydomain.com/phpbb
(instead of
phpBB) and error 404 ...

Hi

I'm a newbie to Apache and would like to know if it's possible to
change the
way Apache work with directory names (instead of case-sensitive, I
would
like to have a case unsensitive).

Best regards

Michel
