Subject RE: Simple Name-Based Vhosting

1. When I enter the URL "www.biorevelations.com", it returns "The page
cannot be displayed" error. When I enter the URL
"www.biorevelations.com:80", it returns "Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server."

2. I cannot telnet to port 80. It returns "Connection to host lost." But,
I can telnet to the server using server name "bigus01", or IP address
"192.168.1.100", or even the virtual host name "www.biorevelations.com".

3. I am doing this from my internal network now.

By the way, I am specifying both Port and Listen to 80 now.

Thanks for the help.

Now you need to be much more specific about what "does not work" means. Is
the server listening on the correct port? Can you telnet to port 80 and
manually request a file? Are you doing this from your internal network?

Joshua.
