Your Right, I do Lack basic Web Server Knowledge and I have bought a book,
three to be exact regarding Web Servers and CGI.
However they all lack in some area and all in the area of my question in
particular.
 I have found in 20 years as a programmer and 14 years bouncing around the
Web that lists like this one are a gold mine. Sometimes I need the answer
but mostly  just to be pointed in the right direction by someone whose been
there. Maps are great but directions by a local resident are many times
best..
