One error in the config I sent - RedirectMatch takes 3 arguments, not
2:

<VirtualHost x.x.x.x:80>
  RedirectMatch 301 /(.*) https://servername.com/$1
</VirtualHost>

The '301' is the status code to return.

Hi..

I am running apache (1.3.19) with php and SSL (self signed certificate)
on
Linux.. I can browse the site manually by using https://<domain
name.com>
and I can as well browse the site with standard http as well.

Would like to stop standard http trafic for this domain and configure
server to respond in https only.. i.e. when user say <mydomain.com>
server
should automatically redirect the url to https://<mydomain.com>..

Any help is appreciated..

Regards
Prem..
