Hi Aaron,
All LDAP mods for Apache work well with Apache 1.3.x. I have tried them
all. They each provide little bit of different functionality. so it is a
matter of personal choice.

Apache 2 already comes with LDAP module.

here is a small HOWTO I wrote on installing LDAP/WebDAV on apache.
http://www.stonebeat.org/index.php?page=ApacheWebDAVLDAPOnLinux
It uses mod_auth_ldap for example.
mod_auth_ldap is available @
http://www.muquit.com/muquit/software/mod_auth_ldap/mod_auth_ldap.html

mod_auth_ldap is very easy to use.

Subject: LDAP

Hello,

I am looking into using Apache with LDAP...  Just curious as to what
specific LDAP software people on the list are using that plays well with
Apache.

Thanks,
Aaron Markley
