Subject Apache service error after machine crash
Date Thu, 17 Jan 2002 20:31:29 GMT
I have been running apache as a web and proxy server for about 4 months
without much problem. This morning the win2000 machine on which it was
running went down hard after a fire alarm caused it's UPS to fail. I
examined the event log after bringing it back up which yielded the
following error:

The Apache service named Apache reported the following error:
>>> [Thu Jan 17 12:13:56 2002] [error] (9)Bad file descriptor:
dup2(stdin) failed <<<
 before the error.log file could be opened.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what this means? Apache seems to be
running O.K.
