Id like to use the 'Concurrent' policy, and it seems to fit best in the ThrottlePolicy verb..but I cant get the options right behind it. ThrottlePolicy Concurrent 2 Limit wants to be a number..but the docs show only as a mesure of data, not just a plain number. Just trying to discover how to limit any ClientIP to -2- connections at a time to a specific virtual host. And to confirm what I think is right: ... SetHandler throttle-me ..would actually set that specific directory to the above defined limit of 2 connections per IP at any given time. I have some binary data here (parts > databases for vehicle manufacturers) at home, and Id like to > prevent people from tryin to download all 30 15Mb images at the > -same- time. There are several modules that allow you to do this. mod_throttle is one: http://www.snert.com/Software/Throttle/ See also: http://www.webtechniques.com/archives/2001/11/serv/ Joshua. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The official User-To-User support forum of the Apache HTTP Server Project.
