If it was part of the redhat install then it is not the latest apache ( 7.2
has 1.3.20). I am not sure what steps you would need to take going from the
rpm installed apache to compling your own for apache 1.3.22. It might be
seamless but I dont think so. Is it a production machine or tester? Sorry I
could not be of more help.
