That will get you a very basic Apache, but if you want to
add PHP as a dynamic module afterwards you will at least need to enable

so you configure line would need to be

./configure --enable-module=so

The INSTALL file that comes with the Apache source is
a worthy read though.........Likewise for the PHP one
when you get to that stage.
