Subject Regarding Input filter : Call used apr_bucket_heap_create
Date Tue, 22 Jan 2008 10:13:32 GMT

Hello All,

My application is using the below code in input filter:-

            apr_bucket *tmpb = apr_bucket_heap_create(sContentData.c_str(), sContentData.length(),
NULL, apr_bucket_alloc_create(f->r->pool));
            apr_brigade_cleanup(ctx->pbb);
            APR_BRIGADE_INSERT_TAIL(ctx->pbb, tmpb);
            tmpb = apr_bucket_eos_create(apr_bucket_alloc_create(f->r->pool));
            APR_BRIGADE_INSERT_TAIL(ctx->pbb, tmpb);

The above code causes crash when empty data is posted to the application. But when I change
the call bucket allocator from apr_bucket_alloc_create to conn_rec::bucket_alloc, it runs
fine.

What can be the issue and is changing the above will be safe?

Thanks for help,
Mohit
